Frequently Asked Questions

1. Special requests during registration*

• Honeybees, Bumblebees & Passers will allow requests for siblings and carpool needs, subject to review by the BAYSA Board to ensure teams are balanced and fair.
• Wings, Strikers & Kickers will not allow requests for specific coaches and/or specific players due to teams being selected per the MVYSA team draw process (only exception are coaches kids are ensured to be on the team they are coaching).

2. BAYSA Team Draw Process

• Honeybees, Bumblebees & Passers teams are selected based on the following selection criteria during a team draw administered by BAYSA board:

1. Coach's children are assigned first
2. Players associated with a team sponsor
3. Special requests*
4. Remaining slots are filled by balancing age and years of experience

• Wings, Strikers & Kickers teams are selected based on the following selection criteria during a team draw administered by another league within MVYSA:

1. Coach's children are assigned first
2. Players associated with a team sponsor
3. Remaining slots are filled by balancing age and years of experience

5. Registration Info

• Registration windows and rates:
  • Honeybees & Bumblees Ages 3-6;  $70
  • Passsers Ages 7-8; $80
  • Wings, Strikers, Kickers Ages 7-14; $90

• Honeybees Ages 3-6 (Coed teams)
• Passers Ages 7-8 (Coed teams)
• Wings Ages 9-10 (Boys/Girls Teams)
